Use Proximity Sensor without Dell Optimizer with Windows 11 standard function

is it possible to use the proximity sensor (Dell 7320 detachable) without Dell Optimizer? Windows 11 does support it on its own but it seems not available without Optimizer installed. I like to avoid as much unneeded software as possible even that Optimizer does not consume CPU but some Ram...
