Just tested Intel AC 7260.

Works great, no BIOS "WhiteList"

Now I did use Dell part number 8TF1D

Thanks for testing,mine isnt working on slot 1, the pc wont boot.

But it is ok on slot 2

I called Dell Support who told me my laptop is too old to upgrade and couldn't help me. But this seems to indicate the original Wireless 1504 CAN be upgraded--to get me 5 ghz. I really am going to reconsider ever buying a DELL again, as support (was referred there by Parts sales) not very knowledgeable.

But the part has to come through EBAY?  Any other sources?

6205 is not working for my for my laptop dell latittude e6530. Tried 20+drivers
