Bluetooth mouse stopped working

I've always used a Logitech bluetooth mouse with my Inspiron 1525n with Dell installed Ubuntu.  This morning my mouse wasn't connected anymore.  When I tried to re-connect using the Bluetooth manager, I got a mysterious error message:

Couldn't display "obex://[00:07:61:96:62:22]/".

Error:  host down

Please select another viewer and try again.

I have no idea what this message means.  Re-booting and turning the mouse on and off hasn't helped.
