Cannot run SUSE 9.2 LiveCD

I am using dimension 8300 and wanted to try SUSE 9.2. However, the installation is not successful and the monitor (1703FP) would turn off by itself after it reach 'run mail' or something. Please help.

I haven't heard anything good about suse 9.2, and I'm starting to get kind of worried bout the whole project. It seems it went down hill after Novell bought them out.

Nonetheless, I'd stick with 9.1 I've been running it for about a year now, and its wonderful :)

Suse 9.2 Live CD doesn't install on the hard drive.I have heard of problems with the KDE CD and the Gnome CD is suppose to be better running.I downloaded both CD's but I haven't tried them yet.I didn't get the DVD as I don't have a DVD burner.I think there are some stability problems with KDE and Open Office.Try the other CD and see how it works on your PC.

I cannot speak for the live CD, but the 9.2 pro is an excellent choice for the I5100. Works great.
