D6000 dock keeps reconnecting on Ubuntu 18.04 Latitude 7490
Hi,
I just got my new Latitude 7490 set up with a D6000 docking station. Connected are two external screens both Dell with 1920x1200 resolution via DisplayPort.
In random intervals the D6000 disconnects and reconnects (incl the ethernet) immediately which leads to both screens turning to power safe. When I unplug and replug the D6000 via the USB-C connector everything gets reset to how it was (i.e., screens switch on again and windows get positions to where they were before). But this is of course very annoying. The interval can be anything from a couple of hours to just 10 mins.
I checked and the D6000 has the latest firmware installed, just like the Latitude with 0.1.6.0 (latest Linux Firware available) also latest DisplayLink driver.
Is there any way to get some logs to diagnose what is going on when the D6000 keeps resetting the connection so that it could be fixed?

I think I found a solution on the DisplayLink forum. Though the issues seems not to be caused by DisplayLink but the sleep options in Linux itself:
