Dell 3115cn Network Scanning with Linux

Hey, I've already posted this on the printers forum and on the wiki, but I'm reposting it here as advised by Scott Hanson. Just giving a heads up so no one gets the impression that I'm spamming the forum/wiki. I was wondering if it is a possibility to use the network scanning functionality of the 3115cn with Ubuntu? Or if not, is there a change that a driver will ever be created for it? As far as I can tell, there is no S.A.N.E support for this scanner, only TWAIN and WIA. I do realize that it can be set to have documents scanned to a network share or an FTP server, but that really isn't an ideal solution for me. Everything else works great, so I'd love to be able to use XSane to scan documents.. Thanks, Joe
