Dell Latitude D810 and Fedora Core 4

Question

Dell Forums Users, I have had a Dell Latitude D810 (PM740, 15.4'WSXGA, X600, 1GB, CDrw/DVD,80GB5400 Rpm hard drive). I am trying to install Fedora Core 4 on my machine. The problem is that I can boot off the CD, I hit the enter key to start the installation, then the screen goes through a whole list(I believe its probing everything) and after it goes to the list the screen blacks out, then will flash a blue box or lines somewhere on it for half a second, then flash back to black screen, then flash back to some blue lines or some kind of blue screen, i believe this is the installation screen. It appears to be an X problem, but I am not sure. Any help is appreciated? CD is good, data is good (tried on my desktop) its weird. Have you tried installing with commands like Linux lowres, to ensure this isn't video card issue?  X is very annoying when it comes to unsupported video settings.

Type 'linux nofb' (without the quotes) at the installation screen where it tells you to press enter to install Linux. This will turn off the frame buffering during the install.
