Fedora Core 6 on D620 - wireless does not work!!

Question

Hello, Has anyone been able to get the wireless to work on a Dell Latitude D620 running the latest Fedora Core 6 kernel (Zod or Xen)? Because, no matter what I do I can not get it to work and would really appreciate it if someone would let me know how to get it to work if possible. If not I'm giving up on Dell. This is the last straw!!!! I've tried installing the IPW3945 package from SourceForge all week but all I ever get when I startup the ipw3945 daemon is: ipw3945d - regulatory daemon Copyright (C) 2005-2006 Intel Corporation. Hi Man,

U can use the ndiswrapper to bind the wireless XP driver. I have done the same and it working well. Detail pls refer to ndiswrapper official web.

Pls take note below while you install it.

1.Install the FC6 kernel source and gcc first.

2.If you use smp source to complier the driver, you should select the same while system boot.
