HI, It`s unused pace (strip) on the desktop between top of a window (border) and the top panel when panel is hidden. Same situation at bottom panel when auto hide is on. I had the final release installed but font and xorg configuration don`t work, auto search for audio/video plug ins/codecs don`t work and last but not least I am not root so I went back to the RC release and this one runs fine on my PC except for the strip(s)on the desktop. Hi Kwihi, How did you install the video driver? You might want to use envy, if not already using it. I had a similar problem and fixed it installing the driver this way. Cheers.

Hi, Gunner_Sr, Graphic card (intel 845), driver (intel experimental modesetting driver) is installed by default and I think its the right one. Display and font rendering is neat. Desktop display looks neat when top and bottom panels are shown and when panels are hidden (autohide) windows just don`t fit the desktop. Thanks, Jacob

Humm, I don't work much with intel graphics cards, only Nvidia and ATI one. Sorry.
