I would also be very interested in seeing an official ISO for the M3800.
After looking into this a bit it seems like the fixes made by Dell (at least for the XPS 13) have been incoorporated into the standard Ubuntu kernels, but I'm not sure if the M3800-specific fixes have been. Check out this Sputnik Kernel PPA for more information.
On a vanilla 14.04.2 install (augmented with proprietary nvidia drivers), I still don't think the system is fully working as it should. That's why I am interested in the official drivers. When I run sudo lshw, there are a few devices unclaimed, which I belief means that not all hardware is running properly/ to its fullest. The unclaimed ones are below:

I'm on the same boat. Dell please create guide on how to install ubuntu on M3800.Thanks fro even considering it.

FWIW: I installed a plain vanilla Ubuntustudio 14.04.2 on my m3800. You might wish to retain the Windows restore partitions.
After booting, run the "additional drivers" utility to get Nvidia drivers.
