Installing Ubuntu with Windows

Question

I'd like to install Ubuntu on a partition of my HD; I'm running Vista right now. What's the best way to do this? Do I need to make a partition before installing Ubuntu, or is that part of the process? If it's part of the installation, do I get to choose the size of the partition?   Also, I'd like to set up a dual boot; what's the best method for that?   TIA, Andrew

Try this Link It has a lot of how-tos for setting up VM and Ubuntu   You will need the free-trial VMware to set up your Ubuntu, free for a month. After the trial period you can uninstall the VMware, and install their free VMplayer.   Peace   Just be sure to do it with
