Installing Windows XP on a Dell 1525N
I have a Dell 1525N that came with Ubuntu on it. I have not gotten along well with the Linux OS as I've never been able to get my HP LaserJet P1006 printer to run on it plus Quicken will not run on it. I've decided that I would like to install Windows XP in it to be compatible with my other laptop. Does the "N" designation on the 1525 mean that it is only good for a Linux system or will XP run on it?

Hi, On the Inspiron 1525 laptop you can get XP or Vista on it. you can get your drivers HERE. But, you will need to give Dell a ring for the OS's, or use retail version.
