Linux driver for 2005fpw

I can't get the 2005fpw to display anything when I boot Fedora Core 4. Can anyone point me to the 2005fpw driver for linux. Thanks!

You don't usually need a driver for a monitor.  If when you boot, the screen goes blank and the monitor goes asleep then the problem may be a video setting or two off.  What type of video card do you have?

You don't need a driver (or module more specifically). Edit your xorg.conf (/etc/X11/xorg.conf) and alter the line that looks something like:

Modes "1450x1050" "1024x768" "800x600"

so that the 2005FPW's native resolution is listed:

Modes "1680x1050" "1450x1050" "1024x768" "800x600"

it doesn't have first, but I believe X uses the first entry by default.

On a side note, Fedora Core 4 and Knoppix both detected the monitor out of the box. Gentoo required editing (as one would expect).
