Linux on Dell 6000
Hey everyone
I installed linux on my Inspiron 6000(Fedora core 3)
I just had a few questions about getting certain components working.
1. My dvd player skips a lot when it is running, I believe that it is because DMA is not enabled. But when I try to enable DMA, it says that the operation is not permitted. How would I enable DMA?
2. Anyone know how to enable the scroll parts of the touchpad?
3. When are actual mobility radeon x300 linux drivers going to come out? Do I need them to output to my TV? If not, how would I go about doing that?
4. Any ideas on how to hibernate?
Thanks for you help.
Brendan
