Live Linux Chat, Session 2 - Now Open

Whenever I turn my computer on, I get a box that says Solutions Center.  I have to keep clicking cancel to get it to go away.  Why am I getting this?

Hi, I've just purchased aDell Mini 10v which came with Ubuntu 8.04.

I diden't like it because  I could not add software I needed to it so I upgraded it to Ubuntu 9.04 Remix edition which ran perfactly on my lappy.

what I need is the install files for Dell Video Chat

i have a inspiron 1525 and the volume buttons in the top right hand of the key board arent working? they work in controling the volume but a box showed up in the bottom right corner telling the amount of the volume, now it doesnt. how do i get the box to start popping back up?

Hello ,it;s Rose Baker..I NEED HELP !!!! have a dell dimension 300  reloaded operating sysyem,lost original disk...can't get drivers for audio controller,ethernet controller or photo printer..any suggestions will be most appreciated ..Thanks

@septembermer I am surprised you need drivers for this machine if you installed Linux (as this is the Linux support section)  But, assuming that you cross-posted, here's what you can do. Go to support.dell.com  click on home>Drivers and Downloads>Service Tag> and now you have all of the system drivers. If it is a printer, you do the same thing, this time using the printers service tag.  If you do not have network access from home, the local library has computer access, and you can pick up an inexpensive USB thumb key from Publix. to store the files on.

If you are in dire needs I can burn you a CD and drop it off, I live just up from your listed location in Clearwater.

I just have my Hardy 8.04 automatically updated on Mini 9. And my wl wireless driver was replaced by Broadcom driver. Problem is that it doesnt connect to my router which is works well with my other computers. Is there any suggestion? Should I restore wl driver and if so, how and where can i download the driver. Thx.
