Hi Mohinder,
Go to Touchpad properties, click on 'Device select' and check the disable touchpad, click apply. You may try several combinations of these settings.
To go to Touchpad properties click on ‘Start’ and type ‘Mouse’ in the search box. Click on ‘Mouse’ folder from the list.
Also let me know the reason you want to disable touchpad.
