Poor Image Quality (Ghosting/Excessive TNR) on IPU6 Webcam – Ubuntu 24.04 (Meteor Lake)

Hardware: Dell Latitude 7450 (Intel Core Ultra / Meteor Lake)
OS: Ubuntu 24.04 LTS
Kernel: 6.14.0-1017-oem (Official Canonical/Dell)
Driver: Intel IPU6 (v4l2-relayd + libcamhal-ipu6epmtl)
Sensor: OV02E10 (ov02e10-uf)

Issue Description:
The webcam is detected and works, but the image quality is unacceptable in indoor lighting (office/home). The driver applies extremely aggressive Temporal Noise Reduction (TNR), causing severe ghosting/blur artifacts with any movement.

Tests Performed:

  • Clean installation of Ubuntu 24.04 with OEM Kernel 6.14

  • Installation of the official oem-somerville-oddish-meta driver package

  • Verified that the calibration file OV02E10_ASG202N3_MTL.aiqb is being loaded by v4l2-relayd

Request:
I kindly request escalation to the Linux engineering team. The calibration profile (.aiqb) provided for this sensor on Linux is visibly inferior to the one used on Windows. Is there any XML parameter (/etc/camera) or upcoming firmware update that can reduce exposure time or disable the overly aggressive TNR? The hardware is excellent, but the current driver makes the camera unusable for professional video conferencing.
