Redhat Linux ES 3.0
I am interested in purchasing a new workstation computer. I am looking for
a computer that will run Windows XP Pro & Red Hat Linux ES Version 3 in dual boot mode.
I am very new to Red Hat Linux. My background is mainly MS Windows. I have
looked at the Power Edge server class machines. They are good, but I have
issues with the size/chasis of the server class computer.
Really need same computing power, but in a desktop tower type computer.
I have been reviewing the Precision Workstation 360 - 650. I see that I could
use Red Hat Enterprise Linux WS. Could I use Linux ES version 3 OS on
Precision Workstation line between 360 - 650 without any installation
issues?
In a nutshell I am not sure which Dell workstation line will work with in Dual Boot OS Capability (MS Windows/Linux ES 3.0).
Can anyone out there advise me on the best workstation line & best configuration to include
Video graphics drivers before I purchase.
Thanks

If you had other workstations in mind, try doing a google search for the workstation name and redhat linux. you can usually find someone who has installed and tested it already. :P
