restore system from usb image

Question

Hi all - Long time Linux user, but new to Ubuntu. Just got my xps 13 (Ubuntu 12.04)  and impressed so far. only glitch - usb drive I used to write back-up to during install was faulty. is there a recommended way to generate a system back-up now after the system set-up has completed? Cheers.

Just run the dell-recovery command from the terminal, the same prompts pop up as did during initial start-up. $ dell-recovery

Thanks - I ended up using startup disk creator and the factory iso file. Haven't had a need to try it. Is there benefit to the dell-recovery approach compared to this?
