UEFI Boot on Latitude E6220 - No Boot Device List
I can successfully boot linux from a usb stick on my e6220 in UEFI boot mode, but what puzzles me is that the boot option is not automatically listed.
Taking a Mac Mini as an example, when I power up, several EFI boot options are listed, including the usb stick.
When I first powered up the E6220 in UEFI mode with the usb stick attached, no boot devices were found. After using the F2 menu for UEFI to navigate to /EFI/BOOT/BOOTX64.EFI on the usb stick, I was able to boot from it.
My understanding of UEFI is is that it should automatically find the usb stick and offer the option to boot from it, no?
Using: grub-efi from grub2~beta6 of a few days ago with latest E6220 BIOS - "EFI v2.00 by American Megatrends"
