x300 use SD reader in Linux

Hi, I got almost everything working in Linux Fedora Core 3, with some adjustments. But the SD READER seem to be connected to the USB bus 003 of the laptop, and I found no way to make it working. The SD Card reader is in fact part of the Ricoh PC Card controller, along with the IEEE1394 controller.

There exists no drivers for the SD Card reader, and Ricoh has told me that they are not willing to release any documentation for the development of Linux drivers. They are not very Linux friendly, you might say.

Also, the SD Card product agreement does not allow for any
open source drivers for SD Card. However, the Multi Media Cards allow for this.

I doubt we will see Linux drivers for this feature anytime soon with Ricoh's current attitude.
