Alienrespawn V2.0

Question

Hi, after I did a clean windows reinstallation. I lost many of my drivers, so i had to installed them all and after that i tried to install the alienrespawn V2.0 from 'http://support.alienware.com/Support_Pages/Restricted_Pages/driver_downloads_processed.aspx?os=W764' and i got this error 'Change MBR.ini Failed' I did this about 2 years ago and now i want to factory reset my computer. I still get the same error and i dont know what to do!!I also sendt my pc to dell and wrote that i could not get up the recovery menu by pressing f10 at the startup like the manual says and the pc did not go whit a recovery cd. and after a while i got my pc back and they wrote we need a recovery disck to format your pc to factory settings... and i had to pay a 100usd for that!

I used a windows restore disk. and i belive it broke my recovery partition

Not sure what a Windows Restore Disc is. If you used the Dell-Alienware OEM Windows 7 INSTALLATION Disc ... right, that disables the Recovery Partition forever.

However, that means you have everything you need. Do it again properly ... and you should be back in business.

Not sure what exact machine you have. I'm guessing a laptop ?

There is:

1. Dell Restore to Factory Condition (using Dell Recovery Partition)

2. Clean Windows Install (via real disc) and then core Drivers and basic apps install

Which did you do originally?
