Aliensense data loss issue

Hello mates,

I have been a proud owner of an Alienware M15X for a year and a half. The laptop has been working absolutely perfect, even tough I'm an active SC2 gamer, web developer and kinda graphics enthusiast.

However, for no apparent reason my Aliensense has begun self-deleting facial data. The Aliensense has completely lost all facial data three times for the last month. There are no warnings, no damage on the laptop, no viruses (I'm a bit of a security addict). It's just that sometimes when I start the M15X the facial recognition windows says "Click on a use icon to begin using facial recognition for log in" or something like this. It's like I've started the program for the first time... This does not happen every time, it happens without any logic, any pattern.

Does anyone have any idea why this might be happening and how can I resolve it?

P.S. I'm with a i7 M620 processor, 6 gigs RAM, ATI HD 5730

Best Regards

Although I can't say for sure, I doubt that Aliensense is "self" deleting data (we've never seen that happen) but we have seen outside programs do various kinds of damage. All Aliensense data is stored encrypted in the Windows system registry. I'm guessing that you may be running a registry cleaner of some sort? I've seen registry cleaners on aggressive settings cause a variety of problems. Because Aliensense is a security program, all registry entries are encrypted. Some registry cleaners don't know how to handle that and instead of leaving them alone, will occasionally just remove them with different symptoms and problems being the result. I recommend turning off any registry cleaners to see if that helps.
