Alienware 14 keyboard problem

Hellooo.

So I just got my new Alienware 14. Upon launching it for the first time, I noticed several keys on the keyboard were not working at all. I searched and found a few other users had the same problem, though no solutions were given on their topics. In their cases, after leaving the computer on for about 5 minutes, the keys start working again - this only happened to me once, and now it seems no matter how long I leave it on, the keys still won't work.

I tried updating everything (drivers and firmware), but still had the problem. I reseted the computer completely to factory settings, and still have the problem.

I bought it from Dell France, so it's an AZERTY keyboard. As far as I can tell, that was not the case with the other users who had the same problem.

Just in case this can be of any use: the unresponsive keys are: U I O G H J K ; , N S D ² = ^

I don't have an external USB keyboard, and would really prefer not to buy one since in every other case, it seemed to work.

Cheers and thanks in advance.

Hi Zanohn,

To resolved this issue, the keyboard has to be replaced. I recommend you contact Tech Support in France at  +33 14 19 19 52 2 to request the replacement.
