Alienware 14 Screen
Hello,
Recently I purchased an Alienware 14 (note that I did not buy the accidental warranty but only the 3 year service warranty) and it got stepped on causing the screen to break on the top left side with about an inch and a half of dead pixels and then multiple small cracks on the screen. How much would something like this cost me to get fixed and/or what would you do? Leave it broken or opt into fixing it. Its not too bad to where I couldn't use it but its just rather an annoyance by not being able to full screen pages because I cant ever click the back button and such.
Thanks a lot,
Gus

On this model, the entire screen assembly needs to be replaced -- cost is around $150 for the part. If you can't change it yourself, add another $75-100 for labor with a competent repair shop (smaller shops generally charge by the hour and will cost less than a chain, which will likely charge by the job).

That is the m14x and the alienware 14 screen is not on there but instead just a different screen that is compatible.
