Alienware 14x LCD yellow tint on display

Alienware 14x LCD yellow tint on display

I purchased my Alienware 14x laptop back on Feb 2012.In late July I started noticing a yellowish tint appearing on different parts of my lcd screen. I have sent the laptop in for depot service(Aug 2, dispatch # ) and received the laptop with a paper stating that parts were replaced. However I can still see the yellowish tint on the lcd screen with viewing from an angle and if the background is white. I have contacted tech support( Aug, 6th, 9, 15th dispatch # ) and have been promised an onsite tech to come and replace the lcd panel. They have not yet shown up. I have been receiving automated phone calls that a tech would be here 930-530 on a daily basis and still no show. Additionally after speaking to a George, Nestor and Sonia, at customer support, I am not told that there is no part yet available for my laptop. I have not received any updated via email or phone calls other than the automated call stating a tech will be onsite between 930-530. Please help as this is so frustrating.

The part seems to be in BO. We will replenish today, the new ETA should be no later than Monday.

Yeah, I have the same problem in the same part of the screen as you, only mine looks larger than yours.  Looks like I will be contacting customer support as well.  

Please post back here after you get your replacement screen and let us know if the problem was resolved.

Well after having my ticket open for over a month and going through and back to finally get a tech to replace the LCD panel it was done. The LCD panel looks new and I no longer have any issues with the yellowish tint on my screen.
