Alienware 15 fan noise (bearing)?
Hey Guys,
In my 2 month Alienware 15 i ePSA I can hear, I think bearing noise from CPU fan. This whining noise is hearable during games, but I think mostly by me as I can hear very high frequencies. ePSA does not say anything wrong about fan, I think also no temp problems. Should I call for fan replacement now or wait a little? I dont remember to hear that before...

Having the identical sound/issue with brand new Alienware 15 R2. On both CPU and GPU fans when they start to spool up over 2500 rpm. Also the only way the fans actually work properly is with the addition of HWINFO program, otherwise the fan never speeds up with excess heat. Service tag #<ADMIN NOTE: Service tag removed per privacy policy>.
