Alienware 17 boot issuse with amplifier

Hi, I recently bought an Alienware Amplifier for my Alienware 17 R3, it works fine playing games however I have some issues of booting my aw 17.

When the amplifier plugged in, the laptop can't boot as it normally does. When I push the power button, all lights on and screen remain black, then after 2 secs, all lights off and my external stereo hissing. Then the machine reboot and everything is fine.

Same when I turn off my laptop. When all system off, it will suddenly turn on just for a sec, my mouse, and GPU in the AGA lights on, then all off.

I'm sorry if I didn't describe my issue clearly, but any solutions?

1.2.15?

I have the same issue so I'll try this BIOS version tonight.

Can we confirm a few things with this version?

1. Is the PCIE link speed still fixed in this version? For Example, older versions only linked at 1x instead of 4x.

2. HDD Led constantly on, has that be resolved?

3. DIMM Profiles for RAM, do they exists in this BIOS version? They were missing in .14.

Side question: Is there going to be a Graphics Amp software update to officially support nVidia 1060/1070 and 1080 GPUs? It looks like it's hit and miss with some of them.

Particularly the Gigabyte 1070 G1 Gaming card. The Gigabyte software will not detect the card because the Graphics Amp passes the hardware name of the card differently. It shows as "DELL Nvidia GTX 1070" instead of Gigabyte.

Here's a thread where people have the same issue... maybe a new amplifier driver would help?
