Alienware area 51 Windows 10 issue
Hi,
I have a Alienware Area 51 desktop computer. It was originally on windows 10 but yesterday I decided to attempt to update it to windows 10. It has successfully installed it, but when I try to log onto the computer I give my password and it freezes I have done this several times and I am unsure what to do next. It has a USB netgear wifi adapter which I tried unplugging and re-plugging it back into different USB ports which still didn't work. I would like some advice on what to try next.

Hi,
Just to confirm, are you referring to the Alienware Area 51 or the Area 51 R2? Did you mean it was originally on Windows 7?

I am not sure the difference I will attach a picture to this post. The desktop was originally on Windows 7 but is not on windows 10 login screen but freezes at the login and I am unsure what to do next.

This is being a hassle and I'm assuming the Windows is probably corrupt can you please tell me how to access the image on the hard drive I have reimagined it this way before but forgot how to get to it?

Hi,
Unfortunately, we do not support Windows 10 with this system. I found this link with instructions for booting to the advanced startup options in Windows 10. If you cannot get it to boot to the recovery options menu, it may be best to do a clean installation of Windows 7.
