Alienware Aurora R3 Reboot Issue (HELP!)

Hello, I recently Purchased an Alienware Aurora R3. I have discovered an issue. This issue only arises if i reboot the computer. The computer starts and goes to the Alienware booting screen just before the operating system starts. When the bar is fully loaded, the pc just freezes and nothing happens I cannot even get into the BIOS. When this happens, The alienware head on my pc, begins to flash red and orange and the only was i can do anything is to hold in the power button to shut off the pc. This only happens when i reboot the pc not when i just shut it down and then turn it on normally. I have tried to update the drivers and the BIOS however, the pc is up to date as i only got it christmas day. Thank you.

Sometimes, things loosen in the chassis during shipping.

* Switch the monitor and PC off
* Unplug the power cord from the back of the PC
* Disconnect the monitor from the video card
* Lay the PC down on its right side as your facing the front
* Remove the PC case cover
* Disconnect and reconnect all plugs, cables, and memory sticks (The memory sticks should click when fully inserted)
* Remove and reseat the video card, sound card, NIC, etc. in the motherboard slots
* Close the case cover
* Reconnect the monitor to the video card
* Reconnect the PC power cord
* Power on the monitor and then the PC
* At the Dell logo screen press F12
* At the One Time Boot menu, press the Down arrow key to highlight Diagnostics, then press Enter to begin PSA Diagnostics
* Write down any error codes listed
* Go here to see the codes

Already tried all of this and I did get an error code from the diagnostic but it didnt match anything on that page it was. OFOO:133C . Customer support said I may have a faulty hard drive and they asked me to email them the test results along with my contact information. However, In my opinion I dont think that it is that hard drive. Im new to alienware computers but when i reboot the pc which is when my problem occurs, It doesnt sound like anything powers down and comes back on like it does on my old computer. The alien fx just changes colour to flashing orange and red and the monitor goes off and comes back on and the pc just completely freezes on the alienware loading screen. The only way to get off it is to hold the power button in. I have only posted this here so I can see if there is any one who has the same issue who knows how to fix. Thanks

Also I want to add that for some reason My pc Had no protective sticky plastic on the side lighting and there was no tape on the front panel preventing it from being coming open. Also, The front panel was open with my dvd drive and media card on display. I have seen others unbox this pc on youtube and all of them have the front panel shut and taped with sticky plastic over the lighting. Also, The box containing the keyboard and stuff looked a bit scuffed. It looked like some one had already opened the computer and returned it to dell. This could just be me worrying but do you think it is possible I was sent a pc that had been returned?

Hi Thanks. However, in my  case It only happens on restarting and its only when it freezes and fails to boot windows. but the lighting does not bother me what i want to know is why i cannot reboot my computer. I only mentioned the lighting to help customer support solve my issue as it may have been connected.  Thanks to everyone who has helped but i sadly still dont have an answer. Customer support thinks I may have a faulty hard drive as the error code OFOO:133C showed up in a diagnostic that I was instructed to run. So atleast I know people are looking into my case. Thanks

Run machine with only the Dell supplied USB keyboard and mouse plugged into the back ports. Does it still do it?

Are you using a good UPS unit (like APC)?

You Genius :) The cause of my issue is my TP-LINK USB network adapter. Thank you so much :) you see tech support would have sent me a new hard drive for no reason and it would not have solved anything. Thank you

Be sure to boot with it in both the rear and front USB ports, to make sure they both behave the same way.

I think the AW desktop is incorrectly trying to boot from it (thinking it's a bootable USB device).

If the AW desktop BIOS doesn't have an option to prevent ALL booting from USB devices (you should double-check) ... then you will have to contact TP-Link tech support for a possible long-term solution.
