Alienware connectivity issues
Hello I just got this alienware 14x. Im having problems getting on my gf wireless internet. I can get on my personal wifi hotspot. Every now and then I can connect but then it kicks off and I cant get back on her wifi. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? Ive been tying for 12hrs. Ive redid and the drivers and unplugged her wifi.? Please help. Thank you.

So when you are using your personal wifi hotspot it works fine correct? Has this happened with other networks as well? There is an option on the wifi driver settings that you can check which may be turning off the wifi to safe power. To check this, go to device manager.
Then double click on your wifi driver (it should show under network adapters). On the window that comes up, look for the "Power Management" tab and in this section you may have an option called "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power". If it is checked, uncheck it and test the system to see if it happens again.
