everything has a warranty, but different countries has different rules/regulations governing this but I know in Canada its a standard 1 year in home after remote diagnosis .... extended time can be purchased and so can accidental which covers spills drops surges ... which is what I bought for my m18X , also apparently it can be purchased for up to 5 years but at a cost.
