Alienware m14x skin surface

Question

I have bought my alienware m14x for 1 and a half year. Recently I found that the palm rest area surface turned sticky. Is there anyway to make it better?Or can I send my machine for renewing the surface? If thats possible how can I do it and who should I contact? Hope you guys could help out. This problem really made me feel sad when my treasured laptop injured. HELP PLEASE

Hello Aliens,In order to assist you, I would like to know if you have spilled anything on the laptop or were any stickers peeled off from the palm-rest area. You may use a damp cloth and wipe the surface to clean it. In case that doesn't help, you may also get the palm-rest assembly area. Hope this helps!

Your reply gave me hope! I did not spill anything on my laptop nor any stickers were peeled. It just got sticky, I guess the surface injured when I used a drop of detergent to clean it

About the new palm-rest assembly, where can I order one? Can I order it from Dell?
