I replaced it with the same model monitor and all the cables are connected the monitor is not the part turning on. laptop also sometimes when it turns on beeps 7 times showing processor error. but when i took the laptop apart i didn't touch the processor. and other times its not beeping it turns on normally, it also doesnt turn on occasionally.
It’s hard to determine what could be causing the issue. Even though 7 beeps does indicate a CPU failure, the processor rarely fails. it is more likely for the motherboard to fail rather than the processor.
I can’t think of anything else that you could try to troubleshoot and it’s hard to say which system component could be causing the issue but it sounds like a possible motherboard failure.

Hi,
Did you replace the LCD assembly with an identical one? Maybe one of the cables is loose.

would the possibility of a lose cable cause this to happen because it seems to be fine after one cycle of beeping and going back to turning on

Hi,
I don’t believe so, I can’t think of any loose cables that would cause the system to beep 7 times with no post.

Hi,
So you're saying this issue comes and goes?

yes, it also tends to only happen when the laptop is put into sleep or hibernate mode.
