alienware m15x freezing!!

Question

Hi, i have m15x, 740qm, 8gigs of ddr3, gtx460 nvidia card, 500gb hdd. I reinstalled my os bcoz of freezing and slow processing speed! after fresh install and installation of all drivers in fresh system i installed cs source! very basic game... its not at all running well! (NOTE: i always connect ac adapter) its running as if i have switched on stealth mode but its off. its freezing and lagging tooo much!!!!! i have 306 nvidia drivers as in dell site its not updated from past 2 years!! they have forgot it!! none of games are working!! most of application is freezing/taking lots of time!! i have a08 bios.
