alienware m17 x r3 help

i have recently formated my pc and i m having trouble locating a driver of an unkown device .... could anyone help me with it ?

Select Download file and follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation. Restart the system and check in Device manager.

Please post the results.

Hi nikpower19,

Follow the instructions mentioned below to get the Device ID;

1)     In Device manager, right click PCI Device under Other devices.

2)     Click Properties.

3)     Click Details Tab.

4)     Search for Device Instance ID.

5)     Provide the numbers after VEN and DEV.

Make a note of the Device Instance Path or Device Instance ID and add this in your reply along with operating system installed in the system. I will find the right drivers and provide it.

well depending on the  system original config it can be anything BUT.. can you click on it and  in properties get the device id?  this will tell us what it is

but I tend to lean to either card reader drivers, or the free fall sensor/accelerometer for the hard drive ..
