The problem is the fan seems to be overworking and the system isn't working hard. Just with one webpage open with no graphics or video the fan runs constantly. Its the fan on the left side of the laptop. I am running Bios Version A12
This could be a hardware problem with the fan and it may need to be replaced. If your system is in warranty, send me a PM with your service tag for hardware support.
I removed that back cover and both fans this weekend and cleaned them with compressed air as well as the vents. It did not make a difference. Why would a bios update cause this to happen. I think it was after an update that I noticed this problem.
A BIOS update should not cause this type of issue, it is recommended that you run the latest BIOS firmware with your system which is why I asked before. Have you tried booting in Safe Mode? This is just so you can confirm if the fans act the same way, if they don't, there may be a program running in normal mode which is causing them to kick up.
