Hi CHANDLERREDZONE
Welcome to the Community .
This could either be a problem with the Graphic Card Driver or could be either a problem with the LCD Cable which could cause the screen to flicker
What you could try doing first is downloading & updating the video driver for the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460M graphics card by clicking on the link below
http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/DriverDetails/DriverFileFormats?DriverId=VWJNV&FileId=2731101000&productCode=alienware-m17x-r3&urlProductCode=False
Glad to Help !
Thank you
