Your other option if you havent owned it very long is return it and re-order with 680 SLI

As for Sound Card have you tried re-loading the drivers or downloading new ones from dell site ?

It appears AMD has released two drivers that seem to be working with 7970m CrossFire. They installed without any mods or tweak. The Desktop Catalyst 12.7 beta actually has the device ID information for the 7970m and identifies the mobile GPU by name. Additionally, AMD has released a WHQL 12.6 mobility driver that installed without any issues for a customer with the R1 and others with the R2. See this thread for discussion.

Also the performance between the 7970m and 680m is hardly noticeable , not worth the money mark ! The drivers will come , if you keep a eye on that thread i put the link up for i am sure you will get some answers there at some point .

How you think i feel i ordered mine and awaiting for it to come and keep reading horror stories about the 7970m crossfire , but i have seen some good benchs marks with them working as they should !! the money just aint worth it for the 680SLI for a slight overclock the 7970m is on Par with them !!

Did you keep the factory settings ? Have you updated the drivers ? etc.

The Desktop driver seems to work better for me and it also installed with all information now showing for 7970.   still have a crash with the macro keys though,  this is the error message i get.
