Alienware M18X R2 won't initialize (7 beeps problem)
Hi there,
In the past two weeks my laptop started to present some startup issues in which everytime I turned it off and on again its screen turned black and started to beep really loud, almost 1 beep by second, and after a few tries it would restart normaly.
Most of the answers from alienware support here in the forum were based in unplugging the AC cord, taking off the battery, discharging the laptop, taking off the CMOS battery, discharging again the laptop, and trying to restart the computer, but all tries were unsuccesful.
After some searching I found the beep code for alienware laptops in the next link http://www.dell.com/support/article/us/en/19/SLN114868/EN , and started to search for solutions involving "System Board, BIOS corruption or ROM error", which led me to a thread where someone with seemingly the same problem solved it by upgrading the bios.
So I attempted this solution, and once more had no success.
Since I'm in the end of the term here in my university, and really need to use my computer for a lot of presentations, essays and reports, when my computer started normally in one of the attempts last weekend (november 9th, 2014) I decided not to turn it off until everything was concluded.
Until today when I had a burst of hope and decided to try once more, but this time something different. I tried to use the blind flash technique to recover to the A03 BIOS (here is the link http://forum.techinferno.com/alienware-m18x-aw-18/1981-how-recover-bad-flash-alienware-m18x-r2.html )
But what happened afterwards is something I wasn't expecting, my computer started to have the 7 beeps problem (CPU failure) instead of the 1 beep, and searching in the web (from a friend's laptop) I found that probably now my mobo is bricked and the only solution is to replace it.
By now it would be bad enough just by everything that happened, but to worsen the situation, as I bought this laptop in May of 2013, my warraty expired in May of this year, and I bought it in Canada the period I lived in Toronto, but now I'm back in Brazil and don't know if Dell support here can handle this situation.
I would be very thankfull if anyone here could bring a light to me, as right now I'm having a mix of sadness, despair and frustration for all this situation... (And I still have to study for my quantum mechanics exam on tuesday T-T )
Thanks in advance

As you said the mobo is bricked and it needs to be replaced, I will recommend you to take it to a repair shop to see if they are able to help you somehow because I don’t think they have replacement parts of this system in Brazil since we didn't sold this revision there.
