Alienware Revision?

I'm trying to order some parts for a 17Mx laptop. How do I know what revision it is? I don't see any R1, R2, etc. mentioned any ware on the laptop.

Could you tell us the specs of the laptop?

You could type in the service tag of the laptop onto Dell's support site to find out which revision you have. The service tag can be found in the BIOS or on the bottom of the laptop (on a black sticker).

Hello Barletta,

The revision for your Alienware M17x system is revision 1. It’s known as the Alienware M17x R1 Quicksilver. Please let us know if this is what you needed.
