Alienware X51 Ram Upgrade
Hi everyone, i'd like to upgrade the ram of my Alienware X51 R2 with a 330w power supply, those are the specs of the ram that i currently have (x2):
4gb 1Rx8 PC3L - 12800U - 11 - 13 - A1
HTM451U6BFR8A - PB N0 AA 1506
i have in mind this one (x2):
Kingston HyperX Fury DDR3, PC3-12800 (1600MHz), CL10, 8 GB
1600 Mhz
DDR3
Latency: 10-10-10
1.5V
it would work?

Hi,
This are the validated specs for the memory on this model:
Memory Type:
Support for DDR3 Memory (Non-ECC only) 1600MHz
Supports 1GB, 2GB, 4GB, 8GB DIMMS
Memory Min / Max
Minimum: 4GB, Maximum: 16 GB
4GB (2x2GB)
6GB (1x4GB + 1x2GB)
8GB (2x 4GB)
16GB (2 x 8GB)
So, according to the specs it should work.
