An error occurred while ejecting ‘BD-ROM Drive E....While hitting eject on Windows Explorer.
Disc spins and is readable. I suspect it thinks the Drive is in use. I have restarted computer. Gone through Task Manager to see if I could identify a program that might be related. Searching reveals a lot of answers related to other machines. M$ has fixit program to enable one to read a drive, or to write to a drive. Never the problem, but that fixit does not fix this anyway. Had to try.
Some time later: I spoke with Dell Technical Support. Who tried several things., Problem possibly caused by update to program. Booted to Windows Safe Mode. Ejected disc. Now in Full Windows. Drive functions as normal. All is good.
Alienware 14, purchased this year. Slot Drive. Windows 8.1
