Area-51 Side panel issue
I just got a new Area 51 and the left side panel lights will not stay lit. On the day I got it I noticed it would not light up initially but after opening and closing the panel a few times it would light up but would only stay lit for couple of minutes.
After 2 days of doing troubleshooting including making sure all cables were secured properly and uninstalling and reinstalling Alienware Command Center multiple times I gave up.
The next day when I turned the computer on the lights all came on and stayed on. I didn't have any issues for the next 3 days until today when the left side panel lights went out again and will only stay on for a few minutes at a time and if I'm lucky opening and closing the panel will sometimes turn them on.

Hi,
Same problem here. The side panel lights don't stay on. To get them to light up I have to remove a door and put it back on.
They stay on when the computer is rebooted; however, if the PC is powered off for any reason (e.g. goes to sleep or is powered off), the side lights stay off until I remove and door and pop it back on the manually activate them.
All cables are secure and I've reinstalled Alien Command Center - doesn't seem to help.

I should also add that I have tried switching the panels and it doesn't matter what panel I have on either side. The right side will always light up and the left will give me problems.
I have also ran Alien FX Tester and the lights on the left side will stay out.
