Well... it only took a couple of hours to find them. Win 10 only seems to allow 5 pictures in your desktop. Also no themes.
For those challenged like me.
right click on the desktop. Personalization.
Background. Make sure all the images are in one directory. Browse to that directory. Select slideshow. Then they will change.

could it be in a folder in documents? mine was after upgrade.
