Black screen for Alienware 17x
Hi I bought a new laptop in the past month or so. It was bought in US but now I am in Hong Kong. Today my alienware laptop just stopped displaying anything on the LCD screen. It just shows a black screen but everything is still working fine. I proved ths by connecting the laptop on an external monitor through HDMI.
What can I do to get the black screen situation fixed? I am at a loss right now. I have to borrow my friends laptop to use :(

Hi!
It's clear that the problem is on the LCD and it needs to be replaced. If you purchased the computer in US, you have to complete an International Warranty Transfer so you can get service in Hong Kong. I recommend you call Technical Support in your region at +86 592 818 3723 for further assistance.
