Hi 1panhead,
According to your drive's specs, you can read/write CD and DVD media, but only read BD discs.

Hi, I don't have the drive I thought I had ....and can't find an internal Blu-Ray writeable drive for my Alienware M17X R3 laptop . Thanks much
