Blue screen Alienware M14x

Hi there Alienware people,

I'm having a couple of problems with blue screens.

First off, Bugcode USB driver blue screen, ive been reading about it and i might need to reinstall the usb drivers. Can anyone help me with installing the latest drivers for full speed usb?

Second i had blue screen when i plugged in a second screen to my laptop on the VGA port.

the last blue screen i'm getting when i'm using a external USB Audio card called : Traktor Audio 2

When i use this in combination with Traktor Pro or FL studio 10 , same happens blue screen.

I havent got these last problems before, i dont think ive made any changes but i'm not sure . ive been having malware problems aswell. i finally deleted the file by a long list of malware search and destroy programs.

Can someone help?

Cheers,
Wendel

Wendel,

* Save this file to your windows desktop, R304382.exe
* Once Saved, double-click it
* When finished installing, restart the system

i installed both drivers and did a full scan, nutting found. been trying out with usb mouse and xbox 360 controller, no problems, then i tried traktor pro and traktor audio again, failed with blue screen. traktor first stopped saying big traktor failure, so i think i'm going to reinstall traktor and send the audio card back for a new one.

Okay the bug code usb problem is back, now when i leave my laptop for a while and it goes in powersaving mode i turn it back on by pressing the powerbutton, inlog screen appears and i'm not able to log in. after a minute the blue screen appears with bugcode usb. after that it starts up normal.

Whats going on???

Does the issue occur if ALL powersaving options are turned off? Turn off all powersaving options, use the system, when done, do a complete shutdown. Power on. Any issues?

I turned off powersaving options at the energy icon on the right. also the screensaver mode, shut down start up, no problems.

It happend again, all powersaving option where shut down, i folded my laptop, so when i reopend it it had to do the same as going into powersaving mode, restart with inlog screen, this time inlog screen did not even appear, blue screen came and it rebooted.

Dude! help me! :( :( :(

Backup. Are you shutting off the system via Start- Shutdown and then closing the lid?

July 25th, 2012 03:00

No, i'm just closing the Lid, while the system is running, for battery saving when i'm not using it and i want to be able to use it quickly after words. its the same problem as before, only then the laptop shuts down in to powersaving mode automaticly because of the previous powersaving options. shutting down those options doesnt fix the problem its avoiding it. i might need to do a bigger reinstall of some standerd software , blue screen also says it some where in the bottom.

How do the Traktor devices connect to the system? Are they connected when you close the lid?

Sorry for the late response, wasnt at home the past days.

traktor is not connected to the laptop when i close the lid. in fact its finally working properly now.

i do have a usb mouse connected to the laptop, i can test if that bugs it out.

Hi there Chris,

Still having the blue screen bugcode usb driver problem, only in  shutdown/sleep/hibernation mode.

So closing the Lid while system is running gives me a blue screen, clicking go to sleep or hibernation mode gives me a blue screen when trying to wake it back up.

ive been seeing more topics about this problem, it says windows 7 has got a hot fix for the issue, should i try that? or is that a bad idea for my alienware. Cheers!
