Bridged graphics card?
Hello,
I have M18XR2 with dual Nvidia GeForce GTX-675M cards. I have noticed that only one of the GPU's are pulling its weight. The other is just sitting idle. I have built computers in the past where I was able to bridge the cards and improve performance. Now, originally when I purchased this computer almost three years ago, that was not an issue. However, now I am noticing a lag in performance and have begun to wonder if the other card is bridged or if it is designed for something else. Can anyone fill me in on this and perhaps help me to tap into the unused card? Thank you in advance.

NVidia control panel , right click on desktop,, it will be under set sli and PhysX configuration... click on it make sure maximize 3d performance is checked, if disable sli is checked, check maximize and reboot..
now if you don't have option for this then we got other issues to worry about...

Thanks for the reply. I have the Nvidia control, but the SLI option is not there. Under #d Settings (the first option, I have the following: "Adjust image settings with preview", "Manage 3D Settings", and "Set PhysX Configuration". Now I looked under the last box and this is where I run into the issue I am having. This is my view:
As you can see in the drop down box, I can only choose from these options. Any thoughts?

well when I didn't have the cable connected on mine that's exactly what it looked like (dual 680m's) so if I was a betting man id go with cable.. if your comfortable opening up the laptop id pop off the keyboard and such and checkout that cable make sure its on properly on both sides and not damaged or frayed unless your under warranty then give dell a call

I'll keep that in mind. Appreciate the insight. Anyone else have any additional thoughts?
