info: the selected entry could not be loaded because the application is missing or corrupt
i press enter then it says, choose an operating system to start, or press tab to select a tool
the two options given, (windows setup rollback) and (windows 7) but if i select windows setup rollback just sends me back to the first screen with the file status info and if i press windows 7 does the same thing but after i press enter again it reboots my laptop then sends me back to the same exact thing. Idk what to do... Im just stuck on these screens and if I press F8 on alienware logo it leads me to the same screen so i have no option to safe mode or anything and if i run my windows cd that i got with my alienware m15 i get no repair option and i tried to reformat my primary disk and reinstall windows back on it but says a file is corrupt or missing half way through the installation. Hopefully this will make it more clearer to help me

I already tried to do that but the thing is Once i boot from the cd, and i selecty language and etc i dont get the option to repair my computer and skips to selecting where I want to download windows on. Which i already deleted my primary one and tried to install on that but on the 2nd stage of installing about 46% of the way into it says error missing file or corrupt and gets canceled and i end up rebooting and back to my first screen which i wrote the file/info/status

Hi again, bootup your laptop and run the Dell PSA - Hit the F12 key when booting and select PSA, then run the test and report back what you find.
You may have a corrupted or worn out hard drive

Hello! So when I press f12 i reach the boot menu and only see these options,
diagnostics, hard drive, cd/dvd/bdrom, removable devices, and network then theres the enter setup mode.
what now??? :/

Sorry, its called diagnostics on the M15x, I forgot.
Run that and report back the results.
